Plana

Plana is a mountain in western Bulgaria. Bounded by Sofia Valley to the north, Iskar River to the east, Samokov Valley to the south and southwest, and Vitosha Mountain to the northwest. The summit Manastirishte is rising to 1338  m.
Plana hosts Peyuva Buka Chalet, the mountain refuges of Ray (‘Paradise’) and Savo, and the Kokalyane Monastery founded by Tsar Samuil of Bulgaria. The homonymous village of Plana is the sole settlement situated in the interior of the mountain.
Plana Peak in Tangra Mountains on Livingston Island, Antarctica is named after Plana Mountain.

Trip Program

-Meeting the clients at the hotel and departure by SUV at 8.30.
-Traveling on the route Sofia-Plana:
Climbing Mountain Plan with off-road program. Stop for tea and coffee with an amazing view of Sofia, Iskar Dam and Rila Mountains.
-Continue the route to go down as the Iskar Dam. Possibility to stop the Iskar Dam

-Possible Lunch at the area (on primary request)
– Back to the hotel 12:30

* Number of participants for every car: 4 people per jeep or a minimum of 3 people in a car for more than 1 jeep.
** Lunch is not included in the price. Lunch  include starter or salad, main course , dessert and a soft drink. Price is 12 euro per person.
