THE INTERNATIONAL SKI INSTRUCTORS ASSOCIATION, KNOWN BETTER BY THE ACRONYM ISIA, IS THE WORLD BODY FOR PROFESSIONAL SKI INSTRUCTORS. THE ISIA WAS FORMED IN 1971 AND THERE ARE CURRENTLY 39 MEMBER NATIONS REPRESENTING THE VERY BEST IN SKI INSTRUCTION AROUND THE WORLD.
The ISIA promotes collaboration in respect of Ski Technique, methodology, didactics and the question of safety ensuring the highest standards of professional practice.
The ISIA is characterised by the ISIA trademark and can be used by Associations and their member ski schools and ski instructors exclusively.
