CAR RENTAL CONDITIONS
1. TAKING AND RETURNING OF THE VEHICLE/ TERMS:
1.1 The client must be at least 21 years of age, with practice minimum 1 year must have valid personal documents: passport, ID card and driving license, valid for the territory of Bulgaria and a credit card.
1.2 Minimum rental is one day(24 hours).A client receives the vehicle with a full car equipment, required by Bulgarian traffic police authorities, stated in a both ways signed protocol. The client must return the rented vehicle with its own full documentation and equipment on the appointed date and drop off point by contract in the same condition.
1.3 At least 5 hours prior to the end of the contract, a client must inform the owner about planned or sudden changes on the returning date and time of the car at least 24 hours prior to ending of the contract.Client may continue using the rented car,if the owner of the car gave his expressly permission and the same car has no other reservation for the next day. In cases client does not follow the regulation to return the rented vehicle in the appointed in the contract term and continues using the car, without the compliance of the lessor, he/she takes full criminal and financial responsibility for the possession of the vehicle. For extra days client pays a rent assigned by the rental contract, when the car was taken.
1.4 In case of unfulfilling the obligation of returning the rented car by the LESSEE for more than 2 hours after the due time, without informing the LESSOR, the car is considered appropriated and the LESSOR informs the authorities, reserving all the rights according to the contract, as well as the possibility personally or by his representative to get back the possession of the car by the lessee, and this will not be considered self-governing. The rental is being calculated on a basis: 24 hours = 1 rental day, starting from the hour of delivery. When the drop off time is more than 2 hours later than the hour of delivery/ collection, additional day applies to the rental.
2.PRICES AND WAYS OF PAYMENT:
2.1. Daily rental rate includes:
Unlimited milage; Third Party Liability insurance, Full insurance of the vehicle for all risks, Vignette.
2.2 Full rental payment and deposit is due on signing the contract and the car condition statement. In cases the deposit is being guaranteed by credit card authorization, upon collection of the rented vehicle and without stated damages and loss of equipment ,the lessor refunds the authorized amount. In case that Bank Card Center is unavailable; the Bank that issued the card does not permit or there is a communication trouble, the client must wait for the amount to be automatically unblocked after some time. The deposit does not serve for payment when the contract is prolonged. During the whole period of rental the deposit must be at its full amount, considered and fixed in the car rental contract.
2.3 When a client decides to return the rented vehicle before the appointed date and time by contract, he or she must inform the owner about that at least 5 hours prior to returning and can receive back 30% of the daily rate on the unused days left by contract.When the client does not inform the owner about that the last one can keep the whole sum for the unused days left by contract. There is no refund in the months of June, July and August.
2.4 The renting price does not include any fuel, the car is to be accepted with a full petrol tank and is expected to be returned with full reservoir as well. If a client returns the vehicle with a petrol tank different of full, he or she must pay the difference to full reservoir calculated by the owner 1.50 euro per liter + 10 service tax.
2.5 In cases when client wants to rent the vehicle for traveling outside the territory of Bulgaria there are additional conditions that must be applied - shown in separate appendix.
3. DAMAGE, LOSS AND THEFT:
3.1 If a fuel is missing, losses or other small damages caused by negligence from the client occur, the deposit is being charged.
3.2 . In the case of any road accident, irrespectively of whose fault it was, the client must call the police and obtain a police statement of the incident. In cases when client is proven GUILTY for a road accident, he or she must pay the daily rate of the same car for every day lost in a car service and practically having the same car unusable, as well as all additional costs followed by the same accident ( within the limit of the deposit ). If an accident occurs, the client must immediately inform the owner.
3.3 If a client happens to lose car documentation, car keys, registration plates or front part of the stereo , he or she must pay all the expenses followed by it.
3.4 In case the car has to be changed on a case that:
3.4.1 it is a client's fault he must take all the expenses made by the owner while transporting the substitution car as well as those made for bringing back the changed car.
3.4.2 the car has to be changed and it is not a client's fault, all repairs are covered by Autojet. The lessor takes actions for replacing the damaged vehicle in 2 /two/ working days time and automatically to prolong the term of the rental with the number of the unused due to the break down days.
The substitution on p. 3.4.1 and p. 3.4.2 takes place where is situated the damaged vehicle.
3.5 If the rented vehicle is stolen and the car documentation and/or keys are not available the client takes full financial responsibility of the theft.
3.6Insurance does not cover if the following cases occur:
3.5.1 There are damages upon tires, tire caps , chassis or windscreen wipers of the vehicle;
3.5.2 There are damages on the engine of the vehicle that are not a result of unaffected exploitation, but are caused by negligence.
3.5.3 The car is being driven after having alcohol or any other drug consistent substances.
3.5.4 There are damages caused to the vehicle because of off-road driving
3.5.5 There are damages caused by unauthorized in the rental contract driver.
3.5.6 There are damages caused by overloading the vehicle and/or exceeding the quota of the seats inside.
3.5.7 If it happens the rented vehicle to be stolen or illegally deprived and the whole documentation of the vehicle: car registration certificate, insurance policy " Third Party Liability", control certificate " Third Party Liability", assistance card, technical check certificate, second part of the vignette, as well as the key of the vehicle, are not handed over to the owner, the lessee takes full responsibility in the amount of the full price of the car in a 10 days period after claiming the stolen vehicle.
3.5.8 The lessor does not take responsibility for bad fuel or other defects, caused by negligence. The lessee is fully responsible for the consequences.
If a certain damages occur the client pays their full cost, calculated by market value.
3.6 If small thefts, breakdowns, loss or damages in the limit of the deposit occur, Autojet does not engage to make entries for insurance documentation, because of economical disadvantages and the cost is fully paid by the client.
3.7 The lessor accept to pay expenses for small accessories and managing small defects only if they are made in consideration with lessors will and is obtained an official document for the expenses with an invoice at the name of the lessor.
4.CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
4.1 A client can not use the rented vehicle for racing purposes, as well as training, pulling other vehicles, transportation of heavy and dangerous loads, unless having a written permission from the owner.
4.2 The client must take care of the levels of the and cooling fluid of the vehicle before start driving and during the traveling.
4.3 A client is not permitted to drive after having alcohol or any other drug consistent substances.
4.4 Giving the rented vehicle to third persons is strongly not allowed. A car is not permitted to leave the country whatsoever, unless an official power of attorney is prepared by the owner.
4.5 Lessee is responsible for all damages of the rented car or other vehicles, in case he/ she have broken the rental conditions and have driven the car breaking the traffic and law rules in the country , where the car is driven.
4.6 The lessee is fully responsible for damaging or missed opportunities for third parties and the lessor , caused in case of trying or leaving the territory of Bulgaria.
5. SERVICES:
5.1 Free delivery between 9.00 and 18.00h.every working day/ Monday-Friday/, fees in after-work time for Sofia region, Sofia Airport - 8 EURO
5.2 Outside the territory of Sofia - upon preliminary request and preliminary discussed prices.
5.3. Driving services within the territory of Bulgaria up to 6 hours - 15 EURO, up to 8 hours driving 30 EURO + expenses. Outside Bulgaria - preliminary request and preliminary discussed prices.
6. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS:
6.1 the customer should be aware that at check -out the returned vehicle is inspected only visually with respects to obvious defect and agrees that any subsequently defect caused by him/ her, that could not be found out by this return inspection will be claimed by Autojet on the basis of an independent expert opinion.
6.2 If a conflict occurs both sides try to solve the problem in a spirit of loyalty and understanding. In cases that it is impossible, competent authorities do this.
6.3 The client must be aware that signing the contract, his personal data may be used for criminal and legal responsibility.
Not reading, not accepting or loosing the contract of the car rental conditions, and /or the car condition report does not discharge the client, and its responsibility is confirmed by signing the contract and or car condition report.
I READ THE CONDITIONS OF THIS CONTRACT AND I AGREE WITH IT. I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR BREAKING ANY POINT OF THIS CONTRACT.
